The 2006 season is underway

May 27th
The 18 car had another good race
and finished second to Marty Schmidt's #07 car. Steve Dickerson won the second
heat again and started on the outside pole. Marty took the lead at the start
and never relenquished it. Steve Dickerson, driving the #18, was in a hard
fought battle with Paul Dykes #8 the whole race. Dyke moved into second place
early but Dickerson managed to to come back and hold on to the end for second
place.
May 13th
The Pony Stock racing season start
at Barona, Speedway was delayed by rain and we got it underway on May 13th.
The 18 car won it's heat and started on the
outside of the front row. After leading part of the race the car finished
3rd despite a spin in the middle of the race. Steve Dickerson did a good job
of recovering and the damaged radiator lasted until race end.
